This solvent has a wide variety of uses across the world. Aside from water its the most commonly used cleaning liquid and can remove grease, resins, oils, dirt, inks, fluxes and more from most surfaces. Another use is as a dehydrating agent in extraction processes.

While IPA is a very useful product it's also dangerous if used or stored inappropriately. It's highly flammable in both liquid and vapour form and can cause serious eye and skin irritation during and after use.
